Museum open house features new exhibit

The public is invited to tour the research labs at the University of Alaska Museum of the North on Saturday, Jan. 28, from 12-4 p.m.

The University of Alaska Museum of the North will host its annual open house on Saturday, Jan. 28, from noon to 4 p.m.

The community can get a first look at the new exhibit, "Expedition Alaska: Archaeology & Mammalogy” in the Collections Gallery. Visitors can also meet curators and collection managers while touring the research labs. Hands-on activities will be available for kids and families in the Creativity Lab.
