Community seminar about discovery-based group learning

On June 16, Gordon Williams will lead a community seminar about techniques for discovery-based
group learning and share examples from his math course.
Community Seminars in Teaching, Research and Learning is a summer series that invites
UAF teachers to learn from one another. Seminars are hosted by UAF eCampus but led
by faculty who’ve had success with a particular aspect of or approach to teaching
and learning, e.g., active learning, student engagement, online discussions, accessibility,
etc.
Community seminars will be online every other Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. until July 28.
