Community seminar about supporting student mental health
July 7, 2020
On Tuesday, July 14, Mat Wooller (College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences), Mareca
Guthrie (Art Department) and Jen Peterson (Psychology Department) will lead a community
seminar about successful, evidence-based practices for supporting students' mental
health across the curriculum at UAF.
Community Seminars in Teaching, Research and Learning is a summer series that invites
UAF teachers to learn from one another. Seminars are hosted by UAF eCampus but led
by faculty who’ve had success with a particular aspect of or approach to teaching
and learning, e.g., active learning, student engagement, online discussions, accessibility,
etc.
Community seminars will be online every other Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. until July 28.
Reserve your seat using this simple form or join via Zoom straight from the eCampus faculty development calendar.
