Community seminars invite instructors to learn from one another

Community Seminars in Teaching, Research and Learning is a new summer series that invites UAF teachers to learn from one another. Seminars are hosted by UAF eCampus but led by faculty who’ve had success with a particular aspect of or approach to teaching and learning, e.g., active learning, student engagement, online discussions, accessibility, etc.

Community seminars will be online every other Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. from June 2-July 28.

On June 2, Sarah Stanley and Deborah Rinio will share examples of contract-based grading and discuss the strategic approaches that have worked best for them.
