Longtime UAF employee Nickole Conley has been selected to serve as the new executive officer in the chancellor’s office. Conley will serve as a member of the chancellor’s management team and will support a wide variety of efforts across campus. One of her first projects will be to manage the UAF strategic planning process, which is slated to begin before Thanksgiving.

“Nickole has a significant breadth and depth of knowledge of UAF,” said Chancellor Daniel White. “Her strategic thinking and problem-solving approach will add tremendous value to UAF as we launch our strategic planning efforts and work to support entrepreneurial efforts across campus.”

Conley currently serves as director of UAF’s Center of Innovation, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship, deputy director of operations at the UAF Alaska Center for Energy and Power, and chief financial officer for the UAF College of Engineering and Mines. Conley has served in a variety of fiscal and management positions since joining the UAF staff in 2003 as a fiscal technician. She will begin her new position Oct. 22.
