COVID-19 listening session with Dr. Anne Zink

Dr. Anne Zink wants to hear from Alaskans at a COVID-19 listening session Thursday, July 15, at 6 p.m. at the Rotary Pavilion in the Georgeson Botanical Garden. Zink is Alaska's chief medical officer. She will be joined by Heidi Hedberg, director of the state's Division of Public Health, and Verné Boerner, president and CEO of the Alaska Native Health Board.


Zink and her colleagues are especially interested in the following questions:




  • What went well during the pandemic? What could have gone better?

  • How can we learn from COVID-19 to help make Alaskans healthier and more resilient?

  • What are your greatest concerns regarding the health and well-being of Alaskans?

  • What are your top priorities for the health of Fairbanks residents and to build a strong, resilient, healthy community?
