The University of Alaska Fairbanks Community and Technical College will host a spring registration and information night Thursday, Jan. 9 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at 604 Barnette Street.
Spring Fever at CTC will allow current and prospective students to explore the breadth of certificate and degree programs CTC offers, all in one night. Staff will be available to assist in registering for classes, getting a PolarExpress card or a parking pass, and ordering books. Program experts and advisors will also be available to discuss areas of study, tuition waiver opportunities, VA benefits and financial aid. New students can apply to UAF CTC on the spot; the $40 UAF application fee will be waived at this event. Current UAF students can complete their spring registration on-site as well. Refreshments will be provided and parking is free.
UAF Community and Technical College offers more than 40 one-year certificate and two-year associate degree programs, in fields like emergency services, culinary arts, paralegal studies, aviation and health-related programs.
