Dancing with the Cars Gala Feb. 4

Join Chancellor Brian Rogers and Sherry Modrow at the 3rd annual Chancellor's Gala — Dancing with the Cars, celebrating the partnership between the university and the Fairbanks community. Auction proceeds will benefit the UAF Center for Alaska Native Health Research student scholarships and Fairbanks Memorial Hospital's J. Michael Carroll Cancer Center.
The event will be 6:30 – 11 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum and will feature fine food, fabulous antique autos, a live auction and live music by Theresa Bauer and "Burnt Orange." There will also be a dance performance by the Lathrop High School Ballroom Dance team.
Suggested dress: 1920s – 1950s vintage party attire. The Internet and local vendors can offer a host of ideas for completing your ensemble.
Tickets: $80 per person. Purchase tickets online.
Each guest will be entered into a door prize drawing for two round-trip tickets to Frankfurt, Germany, courtesy of Condor Airlines. **Must be present to win.
