Dean Morotti receives Oxford Symposium's Outstanding Contribution award
August 26, 2013
Allan Morotti, Dean of the School of Education, recently received the 2013 Outstanding Contribution Award from the Oxford Symposium
in school-based family counseling for his work in the area of social justice.
The Symposium is an invited, residential, international conference limited to twenty-five
participants each year in order to promote a high-level of interaction in a think-tank
like setting. The mission of the Symposium is to create an internationally available
and culturally competent information exchange between academics, mental health practitioners,
K-12 educators and the general public on the value of culturally sensitive school-based
family counseling services.
