Green Dot overview and training offered in December

UAF Green Dot will host a 90-minute overview for faculty, staff and administrators from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec . 6, in 204 Gruening. Please sign up for the overview.

The overview will introduce the basic elements of the Green Dot violence prevention strategy. It will focus on the vital role university employees play in establishing and reinforcing the campus culture.

UAF Green Dot will hold a full four-hour bystander training session for UAF students, staff and faculty from noon-4 p.m.  Sunday, Dec. 11,  in Murie 103/105. Please register for the training.

At the training session, people will learn to recognize potentially harmful situations and how to safely intervene. Each "green dot" represents a single action to prevent harm.
