Do you know your building coordinator?
June 5, 2017
Do you know your building coordinator? Do you know what they do for you? Your building
coordinator fills an extremely important role as the primary point of contact for
building-related matters.
As the representative of all of your building’s users and occupants, they work closely
with Facilities Services to address issues such as mechanical repairs, burned-out
bulbs, head-bolt heater outlet outages and custodial issues. Your coordinator also
shares Facilities Services communications related to the building. These communications
could include closures, construction news, building maintenance and operations updates,
and outages.
Get to know your building coordinator! A complete list is available at http://facilities.alaska.edu/uaf/fsweb/BldgCoordList.cfm. Other useful information (including cleaning schedules) is available at http://www.uaf.edu/fs/building-coordinators/.
Building coordinators, check your inbox for a special invitation to the Building Coordinators’
Open House to be held next week.
