DRAW offers bear safety clinic

The UAF Department of Recreation, Adventure and Wellness will host a bear safety clinic
from 2:30-4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2 in 107 Murie Building.
The clinic is for UAF researchers and university affiliates who will spend time in
the field during the summer and would benefit from bear safety training.
Tim Craig, a former U.S. Bureau of Land Management biologist, will conduct the clinic. This
is a drop-in event with no registration required and is free of charge.
