Chugach Electric Association members elected Erin Whitney to the utility's seven-member board of directors. Whitney is a research professor and is the program manager for solar technologies and the data collection and analysis programs with UAF's Alaska Center for Energy and Power.

Whitney was elected to a four-year term. Election results were announced Tuesday night at the electric cooperative's virtual annual meeting. Watch her pre-election question and answer session.
