Event to focus on ecological diversity, Native resource management

The University of Alaska Fairbanks Resilience and Adaptation Program will host a presentation and discussion Wednesday, Sept. 18, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center in Fairbanks.
Notable North American ethnoecologist Nancy Turner will discuss the importance of ecological diversity in Native American resource use and management.
The event is free and open to the public.
