Exchange program hosts manga contest

The Alaska 4-H Exchange Program is hosting a Japanese-style manga art contest open to all Alaska youths ages 12-18.
Manga is a Japanese-style comic art. Entries may be in any medium and should include a Japanese youth, an Alaska youth and a polar bear. The deadline is June 6. Email entries to Jason Floyd at jfloyd1@alaska.edu and include "manga art" in the subject line.
Prizes will be awarded in age group categories, and the grand prize is an iPad mini. For contest rules and more information, see http://bit.ly/mangaexchange. 4-H is the youth development program of the University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service.
