Extension faculty receive awards

Two Cooperative Extension Service faculty received awards recently. The Association of Natural Resource Extension Professionals gave Peter Stortz its Gold Career Award for Innovative Programming award for the 4-H Natural Resource and Youth Development Program he has led since 1994. Stortz is a 4-H natural resource and youth development specialist in Palmer. Juneau agriculture and horticulture agent Darren Snyder received a National Achievement in Service Award from the National Association of County Agricultural Agents during its July annual meeting.
