The University of Alaska Fairbanks now requires all employees, students and campus visitors to wear face coverings inside university buildings and vehicles. Face coverings are also required in outdoor locations on university property where it’s not possible for people to remain at least 6 feet apart.

The new policy applies to everyone age 5 and over on all UAF campuses and sites across Alaska. Exceptions are available for people who cannot wear face coverings due to a health issue or disability. The full policy is available online at bit.ly/uaf-covid19-maskpolicy.
