Student Support Services has openings for faculty advisors for the spring 2015 semester.

Faculty will mentor SSS students, connect them with research and internship opportunities and assist with course registration, graduation planning and other advising functions.

Advising requires two to three hours per week during the semester, with additional hours during key times.

Applicants should be employed in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics field and have one year's advising experience.

Applicants also should have demonstrated experience in and commitment to multicultural education and educational opportunity for disadvantaged students. Those coming from similar backgrounds or who have overcome similar barriers are strongly encouraged to apply.
