Faculty and staff parking options

UAF Parking Services reminds faculty and staff of the parking permit options available to them.
Semester and annual decals are still available for all faculty and staff. During February, a decal expiring Aug. 31 is prorated to $153. Some employees may be eligible for a COVID-19 discount that is automatically assessed online based on last year's permit. However, this might not be the best option for employees who are only working limited hours on campus.
Parking Services offers a variety of short-term parking options. Hourly ($0.75) and daily permits ($5) can be purchased through the Passport Parking app. Weekly ($20) and monthly ($35) permits can be purchased at kiosks. Faculty and staff are encouraged to review whether their specific situation would benefit from paying a short-term, semester or yearly rate.
All parking rules and regulations are still in effect.
To promote social distancing and limit in-person interactions, parking permits should be purchased through Parking Service's online parking portal. You’ll get a two-week temporary permit by email while your permit is sent by regular mail.
