Faculty athletic representative needed

The UAF faculty athletic representative John Fox is retiring in June. Fox has served as FAR for the past eight years.  Chancellor Rogers will appoint a new represenative for a two-year term beginning July 1 and is asking any faculty member who may be interested in the position to contact Forrest Karr, director of athletics, by Friday, April 29, 2011.

Karr will explain the duties and time requirement for the position.  All names will be forwarded to the chancellor for his review and decision. The new representative will be announced by May 16, 2011.
