Faculty calling campaign this semester

UAF Admissions will continue the faculty calling campaign January through April. The calling campaign is for students admitted for the fall 2020 semester. Faculty members connect with students majoring in their field, welcome them to UAF and get them excited about going to UAF in the fall.


The spring 2020 faculty calling campaign will take place in 215 Signers' Hall on:


  • Jan. 21-24 from 5-7 p.m.

  • Feb. 17-21 from 5-7 p.m.

  • March 23-27 from 5-7 p.m.

  • April 20-24 from 5-7 p.m.


Faculty are welcome to come for part of one night or all four  — whatever works best for them and their schedule. In addition to faculty, the call center will be staffed by Admissions counselors to support faculty should students have questions beyond their scope. Admissions will prepare a list of admitted students and their majors so faculty can call students who are in their field of study.





Admissions will send reminders the week before calling each month. The December event was very successful, and Admissions counselors are looking forward to working with more faculty in the spring semester!
