Faculty ski event

Faculty are invited to join the Faculty Accelerator and UAF Outdoor Adventures to celebrate 2021 and the first week of classes by cross-country skiing or learning to ski Friday, Jan. 15. All are welcome no matter your experience level. Instructors will be available!

Ski clinics will begin at noon and 1:15 p.m. (approximately 45 minutes each).

Arrive a little early to get set up or get your rental gear. Rentals will be provided for free, or you can bring your own cross-country ski gear and warm clothes.

Meet in the back west corner of the UAF Student Recreation Center at the Outdoor Adventures Office a little before noon or 1:15 p.m. to join in. You can be a part of the clinic or just meet as a group of folks and hit the trails together!

Please plan to follow all UAF COVID-19 protocols. You can email Amanda White at awhite74@alaska.edu with any questions. Bring your colleagues, your gear or just yourself and enjoy Fairbanks winter with fellow faculty members!
