Faculty workshop Dec. 8 to collaborate on climate change assignments

Instructors are invited to a gathering Friday, Dec. 8, from 1-3 p.m. in 145 Bunnell (within the eLearning office) to engage in transdisciplinary, project-based assignment design.

This workshop will give instructors the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and create assignments that span disciplines. Faculty will work in small groups focused on creating shared climate change-based assignments that enhance their own curriculum and help students to see the larger connections between disciplines, fostering greater critical thinking and shared understanding.

Light snacks will be provided. The event is a joint effort between faculty, eLearning and the Office of the Vice Chancellor of Research. RSVP at http://iteachu.uaf.edu/events/.
