The Fairbanks Symphony Association presents the Fall Showcase featuring American violinist Eric Silberger in two separate performances for the Fairbanks community. Silberger will perform a solo recital, accompanied at the piano by Eduard Zilberkant, on Thursday, Oct. 31, at 7:30 p.m. in Davis Concert Hall. The recital features three sonatas for violin and piano composed by Beethoven, Prokofiev, and Franck and a number of caprices by Paganini.

On Sunday, Nov. 3, at 4 p.m., Silberger will perform Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra conducted by music director Zilberkant. The Symphony No. 7, by Dvorak, fills the second half of the program in Davis Concert Hall. Both events are sponsored by Foundation Health Partners.

Tickets are available at the symphony website and at the Davis Hall box office one hour before concert time. Visit the symphony website for details.

Student rush tickets for the Fall Showcase concert and recital are available Thursday, Oct. 31, from 5-7 p.m. at the box office or online from 5-10 p.m. with the promo code Student1920.
