Fall 2011 New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation for fall 2011 takes place Sunday, Aug. 28 – Wednesday, Aug 31. Faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in the following events:

• Academic Open Houses: 10:15 – 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 30. Orientation leaders will guide new students to their respective school and college open house locations where faculty and staff will greet them.


• Academic Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 30, following the open houses, at Lola Tilly Commons.  Admissions would like faculty and staff to lead students directly from their open house to this casual opportunity for students to talk with faculty and staff. Complete an RSVP by Wednesday, Aug. 17.


• Resource Fair: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 29, in the Wood Center. Reserve a half table prior to Friday, Aug. 12.
