Fall 2018 Study Away Fair

UAF offers hundreds of academic and experiential options all over the U.S. and the
world. The International Programs and Initiatives office will host a study away fair
on Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in Wood Center. Stop by any time to learn
what types of opportunities are available to UAF students.Representatives from study abroad program providers, UAF International Programs and Initiatives staff, and prior study away students will be available to answer questions. UAF students can academic credit that may apply to their degree program. We’ll help you find your ideal program, from a few weeks in the summer to a semester or two (or more!). You can even go on more than one exchange, both nationally and internationally! While some programs do have foreign language requirements, many others are taught in English, offer beginning-level language courses or provide both options. UAF financial aid, student loans, scholarships and grants can help cover your study away expenses. Alaska Performance Scholarship and UA Scholar recipients receive awards as normal on any study away program.
