Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra conductor Eduard Zilberkant leads the audience in singing familiar carols near the end of the Dec. 2 holiday concert in Charles Davis Concert Hall. Fairbanks Daily News-Miner readers have in the past named this as the best concert of the year.
The concert featured the Fairbanks Symphony, the newly formed symphony chorus, UAF's Choir of the North, the University Chorus, the Northland Youth Choir, and vocal soloist and UAF faculty member Jaunelle Celaire.
Design Alaska, a Fairbanks architectural design and engineering firm, has sponsored this annual concert for the past 11 years. Employees of the firm handed out ornaments at the close of the concert.
