February Faculty Senate agenda posted

The February Faculty Senate agenda is now available. Faculty are encouraged to review the agenda and to contact their representatives to discuss issues of interest. All Faculty Senate meetings are open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to attend. Items that are of particular interest for the upcoming meeting include:

• a request to the Board of Regents to delay making its decisions on expedited academic program reviews until the expedited administrative structure reviews are complete


• an announcement of a special Faculty Senate meeting on March 16, 1-3 p.m. to discuss the recommendations from the expedited academic program review process


• a motion to approve a handful of important changes to the Blue Book to align it with the CBA


• a discussion of inter-university course sharing, specifically to find common course blocks among our universities to increase access for students

The Faculty Senate meeting is Monday, Feb. 3, 1-3 p.m., in Wood Center. There will be a livestream available.
