Better your health and earn a wellness rebate through Healthyroads

The Healthyroads wellness program offers University of Alaska employees the chance to better their health and earn money. Eligible employees who complete the program requirements will earn a $600 wellness rebate.*  Spouses and financially interdependent partners covered by the UA Choice plan may also participate to double the rebate amount earned.

Take the first step
To learn how to complete your personal health assessment and finish the other requirements for the rebate, follow the steps below:


  1. Complete your personal health assessment within your Healthyroads account.

  2. Complete your biometric screening through your own health care provider, Quest Patient Service Center, or an on-site event.

  3. Earn five points by completing any combination of the following:



  • Record your physical activity using Connected! (pdf)

  • Attest that you don't use tobacco.

  • Complete University of Alaska-sponsored worksite health challenges.

  • Take online classes and on-site education sessions.

  • Participate in lifestyle coaching.

  • Make an annual wellness visit with your physician.

  • Get an adult immunization. (The flu shot qualifies.)

  • Get a dental exam.

  • Get a vision exam.
