Museum lecture focuses on visual history preservation

Leonard Kamerling, University of Alaska Museum of the North's film curator, will present “Worth a Thousand Words: Preserving Alaska’s Visual History” at noon April 20 in the museum auditorium.
Kamerling's presentation will be the final event in the spring 2017 Museum Discovery Series. The new series features a different curator each month unveiling discoveries based on research in the museum’s collections. The presentations are free and open to the public.
