Financial Services leadership updates

Amanda Wall, director of the Bursar's Office, will serve as interim associate vice
chancellor for financial services, filling a vacancy created by Julie Queen's appointment
as interim vice chancellor for administrative services. Wall will supervise the Bursar's
Office, the Office of Finance and Accounting, the Office of Management and Budget,
and auxiliary finance operations. She will oversee records management, finance-related
compliance areas and recharge center proposals, among other functions. She will also
serve as UAF's liaison to Statewide audit and will represent UAF Financial Services
on committees and working groups, including the Chancellor's Cabinet.
Jennie Witter will serve as interim director of the Bursar's Office, where she will
oversee accounts receivable, Polar
Express card services, parking services and the day-to-day management of the department.
She will serve as the UAF representative on the Statewide accounts receivable and
payment card industry work teams and as the campus contact for TouchNet.
Jason Theis, director of the Office of Finance and Accounting, will serve as the lead
for unit budget planning options and contingency scenarios. He will also be responsible
for reviewing and approving exemption requests for cost accounting standard, or CAS,
and will serve as the UAF approval authority for expenditure of renewal and replacement
funds.
