The grounds crew is looking for volunteers for the 2019 campus flower planting day on Wednesday, June 5. Beginning at 9 a.m., flower beds will be available to plant across the Fairbanks campus.

There will be sign-up tables and refreshments in front of Constitution Hall, along with maps and planting tools. You are encouraged to bring your own gardening gloves.

Sign up today and share with your friends and family. Be sure to use the hashtag #uafplantingday when posting photos to social media. Download and post the flyer in your department.

All participants will be entered into a prize drawing to win a flower basket. Two baskets will be given away.

The flowers for campus are purchased using private funds through the Ruth Hewitt Endowment, a fund that was set aside for landscaping and beautification of campus.
