Food safety class offered Dec. 3

A certified food protection manager training will be offered Dec. 3 in Fairbanks and
Palmer and by videoconference in Tok, Craig and Ketchikan.
The food safety workshop, which will be hosted by the University of Alaska Fairbanks
Cooperative Extension Service, will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. State regulations
require that all food establishments have at least one certified food protection manager
to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Register by Nov. 23 at http://bit.ly/ces-workshops to receive class materials. The $200 fee includes one certification exam. Palmer
Extension agent Julie Cascio and Marsha Munsell of Fairbanks are the instructors.
