Food safety training offered May 5

A certified food protection manager training will be offered May 5 in Fairbanks and
by videoconference in Palmer, Sitka, Haines, Skagway and King Salmon.
The food safety workshop, which will be hosted by the University of Alaska Fairbanks
Cooperative Extension Service, will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. State regulations
require that all food establishments have at least one certified food protection manager
to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Register by April 18 at http://bit.ly/ces-workshops to receive class materials. The $200 fee includes one certification exam. Marsha
