The hiring committee for a new University of Alaska Fairbanks chancellor has selected four finalists after conducting initial interviews. The committee is scheduling campus visits for the candidates in late March.
The finalists each will have two days in Fairbanks. They will meet with small groups and individuals on campus, including the search committee, Interim Chancellor Mike Powers, UA President Jim Johnsen, cabinet members, academic deans, research directors and community campus directors. Each finalist also will answer questions at four separate forums for staff, faculty, students and the public.

As information becomes available, it will be posted to the chancellor's website at http://www.uaf.edu/chancellor/search/. Finalist names, biographies and other information will be made available the week before the campus visits, once final dates and travel arrangements are confirmed.
