Workshop offered on digital storytelling about underage drinking

October 3, 2014

Cornerstone

A workshop this month will help community members create digital stories about underage drinking that describe their experiences, ideas and concerns.

The free workshop, open to people aged 12-44, takes place at 209 Gruening at the University of Alaska Fairbanks on Thursdays, Oct. 9-23, from 4-6:30 p.m.

Digital storytelling combines music, photos, voice and video.

The workshop is facilitated by the Fairbanks Prevention Coalition, which develops and implements plans for alcohol abuse prevention in the community. Visit the coalition's Facebook page or YouTube channel to see digital story examples.

To register for the workshop or learn more, please contact Amy Bollaert at 452-1648 x6416 or abollaert@fairbanksnative.org.
