Fundraiser sale planned for flood victims

Staff with the College of Rural and Community Development and the Interior-Aleutians Campus are organizing a sale to benefit Galena residents who have been displaced by recent flooding on the Yukon River.
Organizers are still looking for volunteers to assist with the sale.
The sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at the Harper Building located at 4280 Geist Road in Fairbanks. Donations can be dropped off from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. There will also a barbecue lunch the day of the sale. Food donations can be dropped off the morning of the event.
