Laursen named interim honors director

Gary Laursen has been named interim honors director at UAF.  Laursen has taught a variety of courses and mentored undergraduate and graduate students at UAF for more than 30 years.  Through his research he has provided numerous opportunities for student engagement.  In addition, he founded the Alaska Statewide High School Science Symposium and Alaska Summer Research Academy and is the local and regional director of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
