Joshua Knicely, a Ph.D. candidate in geophysics in the Geophysical Institute, studies volcanism and the near surface of Venus. He was the only student participant of NASA’s Venus Flagship Mission study.

Knicely will ask and then reason on the question "How do we get to Hell? The science and engineering of safely landing in Venusian tesserae” on Friday, Feb. 5, at 11:45 a.m. via Zoom.
