GI Bill overview

Learn about the GI Bill during “GI Bill 101” Thursday, March 5, from 1-2 p.m. in Eielson
111. The presentation, by the UAF Department of Military and Veterans Services, will
help those using a VA educational benefit understand the rules and regulations as
well as the ways to maximize their benefit. The briefing will cover many aspects of
the VA educational benefits, including how to request, apply for and use their benefits.
This interactive presentation is open to all veterans and community members, as well
as UAF faculty, staff and students. There will also be the opportunity to ask school
certifying officials any questions to better understand the requirements that are
specific to VA educational benefits.
