Global change student grant competition rules released

The 2015 Global Change Student Research Grant Competition guidelines are now available,
and the application deadline is Feb. 6.
The guidelines can be found at www.cgc.uaf.edu. Printed copies are available at the Center for Global Change (306 Akasofu), the
Graduate School (202 Eielson) or the Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity
office (301 Bunnell).
Graduate students may submit proposals for up to $10,000 for one year, while undergraduates
are eligible for up to $7,500.
Students who are thinking about submitting a proposal are encouraged to attend an
informational workshop Nov. 10 at 5:15 p.m. in the Globe Room of the Elvey Building.
The Center for Global Change has funded nearly 250 graduate and undergraduate research
projects since the competition began in 1992.
