Join UAF in the Golden Days Parade

UAF will again participate in the Kinross Fort Knox Mine Grande Parade, one of the main events held during Golden Days. The parade will take place at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 19. All faculty, staff, students, alumni and their families are invited to join in the fun and walk alongside the UAF float.

We'd like everyone participating to represent UAF in a blue and gold shirt or a UAF T-shirt. Blue and gold T-shirts are available for purchase by completing the online order form. Orders can be placed and paid for by departments or by individuals (see details on order form). All orders need to be received by 5 p.m. on Monday, July 7.

If you are interested in volunteering your time and talent for the float or other parade-related activities, please fill out the volunteer sign-up form.

Everyone who participates in the parade will need to complete the UA liability form (PDF). Completed forms should be emailed to uaf-events@alaska.edu or faxed to 474- 6283. The forms must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 18.

The parade begins at the Carlson Center.
