Gov. Parnell gets hands-on look at Alaska's Constitution

Alaska Gov. Sean Parnell, and his wife, Sandy, visited the UAF campus last week to view one of the original copies of the Alaska Constitution with help from archivist Bridget Burke. Alaska's leaders gathered on campus in 1955 to craft the constitution in what is now Constitution Hall. The document was signed in 1956 in what is now Signers' Hall. Most student services are located in these historic buildings.
