Nanooks win Governor's Cup

Alaska Governor Sean Parnell (kneeling in maroon shirt at lower right) was on hand to join in the Nanooks' celebration moments after they defeated the UAA Seawolves Saturday night in the Carlson Center to claim their third Governor's Cup title in the past four years.The game was won in a shootout, allowing the Nanooks to lift the Governor's Cup for the third straight year and the 11th time in its 19-year history.
