The Georgeson Botanical Garden, located at the Fairbanks Experiment Farm at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, will benefit from the Lend-A-Hand Program offered by Co-Op Market Grocery and Deli during April 2017.

Through the Lend-A-Hand Program, Co-Op customers have the opportunity to round their shopping bills up to the nearest dollar. Co-Op will donate the money to a charitable organization whose work aligns with the Co-Op's goals: providing access to good, healthy food; supporting local agriculture and a thriving local economy; and creating a knowledgeable community informed about choices that impact personal wellness and the environment.

The Georgeson Botanical Garden is a nationally recognized botanical garden dedicated to plant culture and conservation. It's part of the UAF School of Natural Resources and Extension and was established in 1989.
