Healthyroads enrollment extended

July 17, 2014

University Relations

There's still time to enroll in Healthyroads, the University of Alaska's health promotion program. Enrollment has been extended to July 18.

As part of the program, you can engage in the new Healthyroads exercise challenge, aptly titled “Time to Move.” It will help provide you with the incentive to get your blood pumpin’ and the calories burnin’.

All you need is at least 30 minutes of activity, a minimum of 4 days per week. Walking the dog, mowing the lawn, working in the garden, playing with your kids — it all counts. Track your progress between July 7 and July 27. Everyone who completes the Time to Move challenge will be entered into a UA-sponsored drawing for an exciting prize. Employees, spouses and financially interdependent partners are eligible to participate.

To enroll, log in to Healthyroads.com through the single sign-on link for employees. Spouses and partners can enroll directly on Healthyroads.com. Click on the “My Programs” tab, then select “Challenges.”
