Home retrofit workshops in Soldotna, Seldovia

The UAF Cooperative Extension Service will offer free home retrofit workshops in two Kenai Peninsula communities this month.
On Monday, March 12, the workshop will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Seldovia Conference Center. Call Laurel Hilts at 907-435-3252 to register.
On Wednesday, March 14, the workshop will run from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Kenai Peninsula College in Soldotna. Call 907-262-5824 to register.
The workshops focus on insulating homes—including options for retrofit, windows, walls, roofs and weatherization. They are designed to help homeowners who plan to participate in the home energy rebate program.
