End-of-course evaluations are available now. You will get an email linking to your course evaluations or you can log in to the Blue portal directly. You have until Saturday, Dec. 8!

Think your opinion doesn't matter? Read about the changes that Assistant Professor Mark Young made because of his students' feedback.

Students in my online Introduction to Business course (BA F151X) were not engaged in the discussion boards, and, quite frankly, I didn't always have the time to be as engaged in the discussions as I had intended. In their end-of-course surveys, I had more than a few students mention that they wished there were ways to interact with one another other than through discussion boards.

As a result, in spring 2018 I incorporated a simulation game where my students work in teams of five and run a virtual company called Liberty Air. In the game, students have to make business decisions and demonstrate their leadership style throughout the game.

I now play the game with my face-to-face BA F151X students as well, and I have gotten a number of messages from students eagerly awaiting the start of the game.

Students are able to engage in ways where they are the decision-makers based on what they have learned in class. It puts them in the driver’s seat. None of this would have happened without student feedback!
