Hundreds turnout for Strategic Pathways forum

Nearly 300 people showed up for UA President Jim Johnsen's forum on Strategic Pathways held Sept. 1, 2016, in the Wood Center ballroom. More than two dozen people, including business leaders and former athletes, provided their opinions on the proposed options. State Reps. David Guttenberg, Scott Kawasaki and Adam Wool, all of Fairbanks, also attended.

The areas under review in phase 1 include:

Engineering

Management, business and public administration

Teacher education

Procurement

Athletics

Research administration

Information technology
