Jodi Bailey, Interior-Aleutians Campus instructor of business and technology, recently completed her second Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, finishing in 23rd place with 11 Dew Claw Kennel dogs.

Last year, Bailey became the first person ever to complete both the Yukon Quest and Iditarod as a rookie. This year Bailey teamed up with special education advocates to call attention to autism and a wide spectrum of educational challenges, promoting both awareness and understanding.

Jodi has taught many cross regional, distance-delivered courses in her fifteen years with the university. Her energy and passion for teaching, coupled with her deep respect and appreciation for rural Alaskans inspires many.
